기존 마켓에서는 20%의 주류상품의 매출이 전체의 80%가 되는 구조였지만,

온라인 마켓의 등장으로 한두개씩 팔리는 80%의 비주류 상품의 매출의 총합이
상위 20% 주류상품의 매출합을 능가하기 시작하는 현상

오프라인 마켓에서는 상품의 위치가 매출에 큰 영향을 미쳤지만,
온라인에서는 모든 상품이 거의 동등한 기회를 가지게 되면서 나타나는 현상

대표적인 롱테일 기업으로
Amazon.com, Netflix, eBay 등이 있다.

Deffierence between Nominal GDP and Real GDP. Relation with Price index.

GDP = Consumer expenditure + Government expenditure + Investment + Net export

GDI = Wage + Rent + Net Interest + Profit


Let me explain Consumer Price Index (CPI) first.

CPI = current year price / base year price * 100

Assume that the product value never change,
CPI compares today money value and base year money value.

Along the same line, Nominal GDP means current year GDP,
and Real GDP translates Nominal GDP to base year money valued GDP

Real GDP = (Nominal GDP / CPI) * 100


It is easy to memorize if you think that Real = Base,
Nominal = Current   (same number of character)
